Eagle Marsh Overlook

Mid-May, I took a walk with Teysia to the overlook. This time of year, the sound of tent caterpillars' droppings on the leaves of the forest sounds like a very dainty, but widespread rain.

Reminiscent of a certain Yosemite stone, this tooth of rock provides the perfect sunset respite.

Just don't forget a flashlight for the way out! Porcupines come out after dusk.
